Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain of the US female Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for floor and team events, and a bronze in the balance beam. It made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to earn the most medals. In the 2016 Olympics she took home an Olympic gold medal in the team event that gave her as well as teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been one of the very first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals for the team. Additionally, she won silver in the individual all around event and floor exercises. After the 2 Olympics she took a break from competitive gymnastics for three years. The gold medal she won for the American team also won two World Championships. At the age of 2 when she started to study gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She wants to have a successful career as a fashion designer. The leotards she wears as a signature, socks and other items will be expanded in the future. Fierce is due to be released at the end of summer.
